EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER

Approved by the State of Florida,  Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.

This course, previously known as First Responder,  is an all inclusive course that provides the student with the knowledge and skills to successfully handle most First Response Medical scenarios.

EMR training is 40 hours in duration and successful completion allows the student to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians - Emergency Medical Responder exam.* Passing this exam gives the student national recognition of their training and is good for three years. 

The EMR program includes:

· Airway and Cardiac Resuscitation

· Patient Assessment

· Medical Emergencies

Course graduates will receive the following: 

· American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR Certification

· Course Completion Certificate

· NREMT– Emergency Medical Responder Exam Prep Class
