Florida Concealed Weapons Course: $100
This course satisfies Florida's requirements for obtaining the concealed weapons permit. Class is 4 hours long and you must be 21 to obtain your concealed permit. Classes taught by NRA Instructors and Florida licensed Firearms Instructors.
Basic Operator Classes - Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun: $100
An introduction to the use of a pistol, rifle, or shotgun. The class is 4 hours and specific to one type of firearm. You will learn basics of shooting stance, sight picture, and cleaning your firearm. You will need eye and ear protection, your personal firearm, a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition, and a brimmed hat.
Advanced Pistol Course: $150
An 8 hour course that builds on the foundation learned in basic courses.Take your handgun skills to the next level. This is an introduction to tactical handgun skills. In this class you will learn to quickly engage stationary targets, move from the stationary position, tactical reload of your handgun, and support hand shooting. You will need eye and ear protection, your personal firearm, at least two magazines or speed loaders, 150 rounds of ammunition, and a brimmed hat.
Advanced Rifle Course: $150
An 8 hour course that builds on the foundation learned in basic courses. Take your patrol rifle skills to the next level. This is an introduction to tactical patrol rifle skills. In this class you will learn to quickly engage stationary targets, move from the stationary position, tactical reload of your patrol rifle, and support hand shooting. You will need eye and ear protection, your personal firearm, at least two magazines, 150 rounds of ammunition, and a brimmed hat.
NRA Personal Protection in the Home: $125
This 8-Hour training class exceeds the training requirements for the Florida Concealed Carry Permit. All Materials are Furnished EXCEPT, Students must provide their own Pistol, a minimum of 150 rounds of Ammunition, and a comfortable Side-Holster. PREREQUISITE: Students must have either completed the NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Orientation or the NRA BASIC Pistol Shooters Course OR Pass a Proficiency Examination.
