The Range Medical Officer designation is a comprehensive program designed to equip Range Safety Officers, Law Enforcement Instructors, NRA Instructors, and others involved in high liability instruction the knowledge necessary to mitigate medical emergencies. After training, the RMO will be capable of providing an advanced level of patient care at the training site.
There are four (4) levels of training in the RMO Program.

RMO Basic - this designation is awarded to the participant upon completion of the 1 day course and has no current medical training.
RMO First Responder - this designation is awarded to the participant upon completion of the 1 day course and has current First Responder certification and BLS (CPR/AED) credentials.
RMO Advanced - certification for the licensed EMT or military equivalent and awarded upon completion of the 1 day course of training. Participant must present satisfactory evidence of current licensure or equivalent, and current BLS (CPR/AED) credentials.
RMO Paramedic - only available to current licensed Paramedics or military equivalent and upon completion of the the 1 day course of training. Participant must present satisfactory evidence of current licensure or equivalent, and current BLS (CPR/AED), ACLS, and PHTLS credentials.
